Class Description:

Take this opportunity to begin to explore the practice of meditation and experience the healing and restoration that meditation can provide. Consistent meditation practices provide various benefits including enhancing the immune system, decreasing blood pressure, relieving stress & anxiety, and managing pain. In addition, meditation improves mental focus, emotional well-being, self-awareness, and sleep. These sessions will be beginner-friendly but also suitable for anyone looking to enhance their existing practice. Sessions will include some gentle movement, pranayama (breathing practices), and meditative practices which may include mindfulness techniques, guided meditation, moving meditation, body scans, and loving-kindness meditations.
